Forum requirements: Catching or attempting to battle a wild Pokemon approximately 7 roleplay posts depending on mods.
As you step onto route 3 to the right of the Professor's lab you can tell it is a path that trainers do not take very often. After walking a few steps a rancid smell fills your nose and almost knocks you over. There is trash all around, and it looks like an abandoned junkyard to you. There are lots of trails from pollution Pokemon around, and you would not be surprised to run into a grimer or a muk.
As far as your eyes can see there is just junk not any patches of grass anywhere. Unfortunately it appears that all the Pokemon on the route are hidden within the junk. Meaning to battle a Pokemon you have to dig into the junk to find it. While you are debating you still hear movement, and the sound of a pokemon call really near by. You look up at the sky to see some Zubat flying by, definitely not what you wanted to meet on this route.
